Breakfast Ride - 24 SEP 2011

A late notice breakfast ride took place on September 24th. Due to the uncertain weather, the decision was made at 7:00AM. Three bikes and 5 riders met at Lock 17 Bistro in Burritts Rapids where we enjoyed a leisurely breakfast. We then followed a route to the south to such places as Jasper, Toledo, Westport, Perth, and the Lanark Hylands.

Yes we are still in Ontario.











Westport seemed a little too soon for ice cream however by the time we reached Almonte, we were ready.







The leaves were only partially turned to color. The Almonte area was more advanced.

It feels like we stold a ride today, the wet weather held off long enough to get our ride in. There are only so many good riding days left this year.
