Americade - Lake George, NY
Don Tanner and Ron Lewis attended the 28th Annual Americade in Lake George, NY during 9/12 June, 2011. We travelled via Lake Placid and the Keene Valley which is a great scenic ride. The weather was a mixed bag of sun and rain. The vendors at Americade are the best of all the US motorcycle rallies. The highlight of the weekend was the test ride of the new BMW GTL 1600 and the CanAm Spyder (3 wheel). The annual attendance is 50,000 bikes. Most evenings we meet some Blue Knights from the NY area to people and bike watch on the main street.
